There’s a great post on XINGColumbus talking about the warm reception for the new Charlotte Light Rail line that just opened up. Eric went into some detail comparing populations, demographics, and densities between Charlotte and Columbus, and there’s quite a bit that we have in common. Is it possible that Columbus could have a similar grand reception to the implimentation of a Streetcar downtown?
Bonus: Here’s a Youtube video showing off the Charlotte Light Rail line. Looks great. Very sleek and modern. And those photos of people standing in line to try it out on opening day are awesome.
