There was a recent discussion on Columbus Underground where Brewmaster brought up the idea of specific businesses and organizations publicly announcing their support for the Columbus Streetcar project, especially ones who could stand to benefit from the increased traffic it would bring to them. I think this is a great idea, and while it might be a challenge to get a lot of big businesses on board with public support, we can at least start small and use this tactic to show more individual support online.
So, I put together a little graphic using the existing Streetcar Logo and pasted it in the right column of my blog. Sort of as a badge for me to wear online showing my support for the project.
I’ve attached a large copy of the logo right here for anyone else who wants to create a similar badge or button, but I’m also willing to make something a custom size to fit your blog or website if you need some help. Either leave me a comment here, or send me an email with some ideas or specs and I’ll whip something up right away!
