Spring is here and The Tip Top Kitchen roof-top garden is in it’s beginning stages. Owner/Urban Rooftop Farmer Tim Lessner is busily constructing more large planters to hold our summer harvest.
We are planning peppers, green beans, tomatoes, basil, cucumbers, rosemary, thyme and oregano as well as flowers to keep our bar-top and tables looking pretty, we’d love to hear your produce and herb (legal herbs, that is…) requests! All produce will be picked daily and made into fabulous specials each day at Tip Top.
Also, Farmer Tim is planting giant hanging flowering vines to be grown on our roof and drape down that ugly old Tip Top facade which will add gorgeous green, texture and flowers to Gay Street. Occupational hazard of sitting on the Tip Top patio will include falling flowers!
