HUGE news this evening! It looks like the City Center may be on it’s way to rehab after the landlord declared its developer in default after they missed a $202,186 rent payment this month.
The mayor and other local city leaders sprung into action tonight with emergency meetings and are looking into all options to take over the blighted mall with plans to redevelop.
I couldn’t be more excited. This place has been an eyesore in the dead center of Columbus for probably five years now as both stores and customers have declined to hardly anything today. Hopefully we’ll see a mixed use redevelopment that gives the place a new outdoor open-air approach.
