Hey! I’m back!
After taking two and a half months off, I’ve decided to return to the world of blogging. I actually toyed with the idea of just completely abandoning the blog. Do I really need one more distraction? Columbus Underground already eats up around 75% of my online free-time, and between Email, RSS Feeds, Facebook, and Twitter, I’ve found myself with little time to write much of anything else lately.
But in the end I decided it was worth it. I need an outlet to talk about some other miscellaneous things, and this is my spot to do that.
So… what all have I been up to since December 9th when I took my blogging break? I’ll try to give the short list rundown for the sake of brevity:
- Got the new ColumbusUnderground.com site launched. Finally!
- Joined the Board of Directors at Dine Originals Columbus.
- Had an appearance on the local NBC channel 4 news.
- Started Twittering again with some regularity.
- Launched a new audio podcast series and have produced and published six episodes so far.
- Interviewed Guy Worley about the new City Center / Columbus Commons Development.
- Interviewed Bill Lhota about the new Light Rail Proposal.
- Spent a week sick with some sort of cold/sinus infection mix.
- Celebrated my 29th Birthday.
- Attempted to solve the “Grocery Store Problem” Downtown.
- Participated in some bell ringing for the Salvation Army.
- Hosted three Columbus Underground events with two more planned and upcoming.
- Conducted a “Best of 2008″ survey, tallied answers, and published results.
And plenty of other things that I’m sure I’m forgetting, but would have probably would have blogged about if I weren’t on break.
So anyway… now I’m back, and resuming regular updates again. 2009 is going to be an exciting year!
