I just found out yesterday that RJ Snappers has quietly closed in the Short North. I hadn’t been there in quite awhile, but it was a favorite seafood spot for Anne & I during our early years of dating.
It sounds to me like competition in the Short North restaurant scene is getting pretty tight. RJ Snappers always served a solid product, so it was quite surprising to hear that they were closing down after 12 years.
