Looks like it’s going to be even more important now with the Town St. Bridge being closed permanently.
Sounds like the Town St. Bridge isn’t going to affect the timeline of the Main Street Bridge (scheduled to be finished Oct 2009) or the timeline of the new Town St. Bridge (scheduled to be demo’ed in Jan 2009 and re-built and opened by mid-2012).
Just very odd because the only way to get from Downtown to the Near West Side is via Broad St for the next year and a half.
