About two months ago I posted about Groupsourced New Years Resolutions and after a busy January, we’re ready to get the ball rolling!
February is kicking off the first monthly challenge in our year-long series with the “Indie Art Capital” Challenge.
For me, this is going to include not only attending as many independent art events as possible, but also helping to promote them, bring friends along to, spread awareness about, and even help make some of them happen. I’m going to be going all out on this throughout February, so expect a lot of art-related postings from me. In fact, you will see an Indie Art related post from me every day throughout the month of February. That’s how hardcore I am about this.
Feel free to take on your own version of the Indie Art Challenge during February as well, and be sure to blog about it! You can contribute to this conversation here on Columbus Underground as well.
And just so that you know what to expect coming throughout the rest of the year, we’ve got monthly challenges lined up that include the following topics: Food Exploration, Columbus Clean-up, Transit, Movies, Going Green, Local Politics, Fresh Food, Creativity, Volunteering, and Buying Local. These are all things that many people strive for. And together we can support each other in our efforts both online and off and encourage more people to join in the challenges.
