Art from Coreroc

Coreroc Art

Today’s featured artwork comes from the local artist known as Coreroc, who was the mastermind behind the recent C-Note Art Show. We actually picked up this three-piece set at the C-Note Show and have them waiting to hang in our dining room (which we’ll also be painting soon). We’re going to do an accent wall in a similar red color to what he used in his work, so his art should really become a part of the room once hung.

If you weren’t able to attend, the C-Note Art Show was a perfect place for anyone to pick up some local art on the cheap, as everything was priced at $100. The show was a great way for local artists to show their work to a crowd who may not have ever purchased anything from an art show before. I heard afterwards from Core that they generated a huge crowd and sold a lot of pieces, which is awesome as there was no gallery/show commission either. All $100 goes straight to the artists. How’s that for supporting your locals?

You can check out more of Coreroc’s work here. He does a lot of graffiti murals, vinyl toys, and always seems to be using some new medium in every show. Check it out!
