15 Local Holiday Gift Ideas: #6 – Owl Print from Yumi Yumi

This holiday season I’m encouraging everyone to shop smart and shop locally for their gifts. When you spend money on locally made products, that money stays within your community. You support small independent businesses and help the regional Columbus economy stay strong. If you’re having trouble coming up with gift ideas, well… this guide is for you. I’ll be posting 15 gift ideas over the next 15 days. Time to get your shopping done!

Gift Idea #6 – Owl Print from Yumi Yumi

Owl PrintYumi Yumi is local artist Aline Yamada, who creates a lot of great artwork prints. Most are animal characters with a majority of them being birds. Along with Anne Holman, the duo started the Tiny Canary events at Junctionview, which had it’s second year just a few weeks ago that feature loads of great local crafters and artists.

The item I’m featuring from Yumi Yumi is a cute owl print. We actually picked one of these up at Tiny Canary this year to hang in Desi’s room. You can check this out along with plenty of other options online at her etsy store located here. Happy Thanksgiving Shopping!

  1. I bought an Owl print for my goddaughter, too! (And wanted to buy one for myself, but am trying to be financially responsible. Ha!) Now she and Desi have matching Owl prints. Cute :)
